Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finds another supporter in Kajol

Another yummy mummy from B-town is standing up for Mrs Bachchan.

After Pooja Bhatt, Sameera Reddy, Sonali Bendre and Lara Dutta, Kajol, who has managed to get back into great shape after two kids, also defended criticism against Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Bollywood actress Kajol is furious about the cruel comments being made about Ash for her post-pregnancy weight gain. According to Indian media reports, the outspoken Mrs Devgn snapped at a reporter during an interview for asking her to comment on Ash’s fuller figure.

“It’s stupid to have this conversation. Everyone has the right to their lives and to look the way they want to!” she said.

“Tomorrow I can put on 25 kilos… it’s my choice, my body! She’s (Aishwarya) at home, taking care of her baby.

"As long as it doesn’t affect her work, I don’t understand why it should be under discussion,” added the yummy mummy.

Meanwhile, the former Miss World doesn't seem to be affected by the constant focus on her weight gain. At the 65th Cannes International Film Festival, new mum Ash was quoted as saying: "An actor is in the public eye, there will be opinions."

"I'm very thankful to everyone out there who gives me so much love and so much positivity that the negativity doesn't come in here, it just doesn't touch me at all."

And she joked there's no way she's going on a diet for anyone.

"I think in life it's important to be healthy," she said. "I have always enjoyed my food and I have never been one for strict diets and I'm not taking any recommendations now either!"

This is the 10th year that Rai Bachchan has appeared at Cannes as one of L'Oreal's spokespeople and the 38-year-old said she is quite used to posing on the red carpet.
