Annoyed at dealing with selfish dog owners
There is something called the law of the land and one should respect it.
Dogs are not allowed here in apartment complexes and are to be kept on a leash in public areas. I stay in JBR and work in JLT and everyone flouts this rule as far as I can see.
Any request to put a dog on the leash is seen as a personal insult and is never heeded. The dogs run all over, rub their bodies over trousers, lick poor unsuspecting children and invade space of others. Some even poop in the grass and obviously there is clean up done after them.

You may love your dog but can’t you respect the space publicly shared by others? When I see such dog owners, I completely understand and agree with the law here. You do not deserve to stay in a community when you can’t respect space of others.
And there’s seemingly no way to report these people as they are always cowards and run away refusing to provide their details.

“I do feel it is unfair to brand all dog owners disrespectful, however, I feel your frustration regarding the complete lack of respect from a minority of pet owners. Our trouble is with cats screeching at each other at all hours of the night and morning, scratched paint work on the bonnet of my car where the cat keeps jumping on and off my car :0/. Oh and some poo thrown in for good measure. Have said nothing to my neighbours as trying to keep the peace, however what next from these "cute" felines :0/”

“I dont know...but people should stop pointing fingers against dogs and their owners. I live in a 1BR with both my dogs. Clean and neat, they do not bark, coz they are well trained. They do not lick or harm people and they dont make any dirt. Our flat is cleaned daily with the dust cleaner even, to avoid spreading their hairs around or in the floor. But guess what? My Neighbours have 4 kids... clean and neat? I have doubts they know what it is. The noise level is unbelievable, if days or nights, weekends or workdays, I never get proper sleep. Dirt all over, they leave it wherever they stand or walk... I am sorry, I prefer my dogs, whatever people will blame me for ...”

“I have 2 small dogs here in Dubai. I do not let them off their leash and I observe the rules of this country as far as I can tell. A well-trained dog is a good companion and helps with loneliness when my husband is traveling for his work. I agree that dog owners need to be aware of their surroundings and should clean up any mess their dogs make.”

“It's their condo & if the dogs are not troubling the neighbors then you have no right asking them not to keep their dogs in their house! You need to learn to share the streets with others pets, they are not running all over the place in your house.”
