Batman rises before Eid

The long-awaited Batman movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is to hit cinema screens in the UAE next week

The film, already a record-breaker in the US, will be shown in movie theatres in the Emirates from August 16 and UAE fans desperate to see it can reserve tickets in advance at various cinemas.The epic conclusion to director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is expected to be a sell out. It was released elsewhere in the world on July 20 but Batman fans in the Middle East were told they would have to wait for Eid to see the film.
