Bollywood star plans big Dubai bash
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri are welcome in 2011 in Dubai. Karan Johar, Hrithik-Sussanne, and several other well-known friends of the couple will reportedly join the pair for the party.
A source told the Indian newspaper Mid Day: "The Khans and their friends will ring in the new year at the couple's palatial home on The Palm Jumeirah."
Gauri's close pal Kaajal Anand (Putlu) is also expected to join in the festivities along with actor Chunky Panday.
Shah Rukh was handed the keys to his Palm pad in 2007, joining a host of celebrities who are rumoured to have properties there such as Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and footballer David Beckham.
Meanwhile, fellow Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, also chose Dubai to celebrate his 45th birthday.
Salman Khan marked his big day yesterday. Salman and his family will also spend new year here too, before returning to Mumbai on January 3.
Salman's father and writer, Salim Khan, said it was a 'family decision' to celebrate his birthday in the UAE. "We will be celebrating his birthday in Dubai. We will be back only (in India) on January 3 next year," Salim reportedly said.
