'Children who attacked dog are a real concern'
With reference to the news about the dog that was tied with wire and rescued as it was being beaten by a group of children...
As much as my heart goes out for the poor animal, I am also very concerned about the three children involved here. The dog has been saved and taken to a vet but who is saving these children? This incident should not come to a closure with the dog’s rescue. It is imperative to find out what kind of background, home and upbringing has brought these children to their present mind-set where inflicting pain upon a living being is a sport to be enjoyed.
What values are they being taught at their homes? Are they themselves being subjected to cruel behaviour and hence find it normal? It is very important to investigate all such matters as the animal abuser of today will most likely be a rapist and murderer of tomorrow.

“Such cruelty on behalf of children shows the crumbling values of humanity which as parents and elders should be taking as a failure. If these children are not reprimanded then they will definitely grow up to be creatures harbouring criminal intent and ability to impart their cruelty. It is researched that kids who torture animals grow up to be pyschopaths..extreme danger to society.”
