Clocked - silly antics of speeders in Dubai…
I have witnessed some crazy speedsters in the last few days.
In one incident, a lady in her convertible overtook me on the way to Barsha and she stopped at the signal and touched up her make up. All of this in the direct glare of a bus full of labourers on their way to work.
In the next incident a minivan full of people was travelling, I’m guessing, at more than the speed limit on Emirates Road towards Jebel Ali when the driver changed lanes about six times in three minutes and was cutting up other motorists.

Then today, at about 8.10am driving towards Barsha, a gentleman in his Mercedes was travelling far too fast and had to slam on the brakes to avoid slamming into a car stopped at the traffic lights.

“I'm not sure a woman putting on make-up at traffic lights, a van speeding, and a car braking sharply are worth going to the trouble of writing into a news paper.
I see much worse than this almost every time I get behind the wheel.
Next time, make a note of their number plate and report them to the police, for all the good it will do.”
