Documentaries filmed in UAE air on US television
A Chilean TV crew who filmed in UAE this year have created two documentaries for national channels in Mexico, Ecuador, Chile and the first Spanish-speaking channel in the United States, UNIVISTA.
The channels enjoy several million dedicated viewers. The crew covered a large number of subjects reflecting everyday life in the United Arab Emirates, filming in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
The two documentaries, to be shown in both Latin America and the United States, highlight the ideas of tolerance and good spirit in the United Arab Emirates and ensure that there is a place for everybody.
The first emphasised the religious tolerance in the United Arab Emirates. A priest based in Abu Dhabi was interviewed for this documentary in which he praised the openness of the UAE and its authorities and highlighted how they allow Christians living in the United Arab Emirates to live their religion as they see fit.
The second documentary detailed the life of a woman with Ecuadorian origins who settled in Dubai many years ago.
