'Don't be a fool - just go and get your fuel...'
For all those who claim to be boycotting Emarat petrol stations because of the alleged ‘search-for-tips’ policy they carry out on staff...
I think it’s terrible if the searching is happening but if you’re running on near-empty along SZR and the only petrol station before you’ll run out of petrol) is an Emarat station, are you REALLY going to drive past and risk breaking down?!
I think everyone is getting a bit high and mighty with this whole boycott thing - the company is subsidised after all, so boycotting won’t really hit them. Also, I have definitely noticed the Eppco station I use has got busier and it takes longer to refuel. Very annoying!

I suggest you write letters to the very top of the organisation and get them to investigate this policy, not boycott their stations and clog up Eppco stations.
Considerate but in a rush, Dubai

“Awww, you're being inconvenienced whilst someone's dignity is being stripped...literally. Convenience before ethics and compassion; shame on you.”
