Google doodles fencing for London 2012 Olympics

Google, on Monday, displayed its fourth consecutive doodle to extend its support to the London 2012 Olympics.

The latest doodle is dedicated to the London 2012 fencing competition and depicts two fencers competing against each other.

Fencing is contested at every Summer Olympic Games since its inception.

In the doodle, one of the player's head forms the alphabet 'O' of the Google logo, whereas the opponent is seen defending with the letter 'L'.

Google has created Olympic-themed doodles since the beginning of the London 2012 Olympics. The first doodle went online on July 27 - the day of the opening ceremony - in which it depicted five athletes playing their respective Olympic sports.

The London 2012 Olympics will conclude on August 12, 2012. About 10,000 athletes are expected to participate from 204 countries.
