Popstar Katy Perry made a quick stop to Dubai on her way from Sydney to London.
Perry took to social networking site Twitter yesterday and tweeted: “Somehow I ended up in Dubai.”
She was heading to the UK to promote her documentary ‘Part of Me’.

Fans took to Twitter to express their excitement. One wrote: “Katy Perry is in Dubai and I’m in Dubai! We’re breathing the same air.”
It’s not clear whether Perry left the airport after touching down in the emirate.
Ten hours after tweeting that she was here she had arrived in London and tweeted: “LONDON! ARE YOU READY TO #KP3D?! I’M HEEEEEERE! (and I need a shower after 30 hours of traveling).”
