Laborers in Dubai

Hello, we are three grade six students from UAS doing our PYP unit, Exhibition. Exhibition is when we choose an issue in the world that we are interested in and that we are connected to and we make a difference. My group chose to do helping the needy. We see workers working all day without rest and food and we feel that someone should do something about it. So as an action we chose to do a food drive. Students in elementary from our school raised food for the laborers which we are going to deliver on May 1 and we sure got A LOT of food. We're writing this article to raise awareness that there is enough food in this food in this world for everyone, you just have to care. Next time you see a worker anywhere give them a packet of biscuits or a few dirhams and you'll see the smile on their faces and how thankful they are.
