Mall etiquette leaves a lot to be desired...
I couldn’t agree more with the recent article about poor customer service. We went happily to the MoE to do some shopping as we are now our summer break.
We went into a shop and were helped by a lovely sales clerk. All was fine until her co-worker butted in out of the blue, trying to be friendly and it ended up she insulted one of our family members!
Not wanting any more confrontation we carried on with our shopping; only to try to see the Ice Age production in the middle of the mall.

OMG what a joke!
Parents were pushing, yelling, talking loudly on phones, standing so close in front of you. NOT enjoyable unless you were right in front of the rope. Others could learn a lot from Mirdif Mall’s set-up for entertainment.
Mirdif Mall ropes off ample areas for ‘children’ to sit while others stand on the side so all can SEE!!
Their security is fantastic and people didn’t make any fuss when asked to stand back or “wait”… manners and respect for each other.
There are some fantastic staff working in the malls.
But some people really need to take a course in Customer Service 101!
Glad to be on holiday, Dubai
