Pakistan Speaker praises UAE's humanitarian efforts
The Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly has hailed the UAE's humanitarian initiatives to help Pakistan in times of need during aftermath of natural disasters.
Fahmida Mirza stressed that the people of Pakistan will always remember the stance taken by HH President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Mirza also praised the support extended to the people of Pakistan by Sheikh Khalifa as well as HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Mirza made her remarks during a reception held by the ambassador of the UAE to Pakistan Eissa Abdullah Al-Basha Al-Nuaimi in Islamabad in honour for a delegation of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA). For his part, the UAE's ambassador highlighted the strong and ever-growing fraternal ties between the UAE and Pakistan under the directives of the top leaderships of both countries.
He stressed that the UAE would continue to work for stronger relations with Pakistan through providing more support and assistance to Pakistan's local communities targeted by RCA as well as launching more projects to improve their humanitarian, social and economic conditions.
