Passengers en route to a nasty accident
I use the metro to get to and from work every day and I’m worried that if things don’t change, someone is going to be seriously injured, or arguments and disputes will take place.
This is due to the inadequate system that is currently in place for getting on/off the carriages. Firstly, it appears that some (most) people don’t understand the etiquette of allowing those passengers on the train to exit before those waiting to get on step aboard.
I find this extremely inconsiderate. However, in defence of the accused, maybe they are worried that they won’t get on the train before the doors close.

At places like Deira City Centre, as soon as the doors open, it’s an absolute dogfight. People are being pushed, shoved, stood on, etc - women and children included. I feel it’s just a matter of time before someone is seriously injured.

“Over the years ive found that most people in this country have very poor manners and this is one example. If they can get it right in places like HK where the population far exceeds that of Dubai surely it should be a breeze here. Its just common sense and social ettiqute, you dont need rules and guards”

“People just need to allow passengers off the trains before boarding. It is basic common sense but sadly there are some people who don't have this and lack even a tiny bit of consideration. There are a lot of dumb people around, unfortunately. How can we change it? I don't know. Maybe have a guard on the platform to remind people until it becomes a habit?”

“Ironically, they have strict rules if you chew gum on board but no rules for passengers safety!”
