Police rule boy’s death was suicide
Cops probing the death of a teenager who plunged from a Dubai building have ruled he committed suicide after concluding their investigation.
An official in CID said 15-year-old Brit Harry Harling was drunk when he plunged from the building under construction in Motor City on Saturday.
The official said: “There is no criminal suspicion based on evidence taken from the scene. Investigators checked for footsteps and fingerprints. Our findings have led us to believe it was suicide.”

In a statement released by the British Embassy yesterday, Harry’s family said: “We are grateful for the support we have received already from many people but would like to ask all to respect our privacy as we learn more about the circumstances of Harry’s death, grieve and come to terms with the loss of a wonderful son and brother.”
The police said Harry had a row with friends at a house party before going to the 11th floor of the building. Harry had posted that he was out sunbathing and drinking beer with his mates on Friday, just hours before he died.
Friends flooded Twitter with emotional messages. A facebook site called ‘R.I.P. Harry Harling’ has also been set up.
