INVESTIGATIONS are underway into a foreign-linked group who are suspected of threatening security in the UAE, the attorney general said.

National news agency WAM reported yesterday that the suspects are still in custody and the public prosecution's interrogation of the members has begun.

Ali Salim Al Tenaiji, the attorney general at the federal prosecutor general's office, said: "Initial investigations and confessions of the suspects revealed plans which jeopardise the security of the state, as well as ties between the organisation's members and suspicious foreign parties and organisations."

“Please, leave this country alone. UAE hasn't caused any harm to anybody and has been generous to the outside world at all times when people were in need. Don't pollute this country due to foreign influences, it takes a lot to make a country such as this and one negative step can ruin it all unnecessarily destroying everyones life..people here are striving and working hard to support their family and give a future to their children, which is why the country is where it stands today. Please be united and love this nation..”
