Rihanna's father backs reunion with Chris Brown

Rihanna’s father is happy for her to reunite with Chris Brown because he has “matured a lot”.

The couple split in 2009 after Chris assaulted her, resulting in him being sentenced to probation, community service and counselling.

The pair have recently sparked speculation they are on the verge of reuniting after they recorded songs together, and Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty is not against them rekindling their romance.

“I’ve always liked him. Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them,” he said.

“And they [Chris and Rihanna] seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her. Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best.”
