Robert Pattinson to hunt for Saddam Hussein in 'Mission: Black List'

Robert Pattinson is set to star in Mission: Black List.

The Twilight star will play military interrogator Eric Maddox should he commit to the project.

'Mission: Black List' is a psychological thriller about the capture of late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

The feature will depict real life events spawned on by the man who lead seizure of the dictator.

Ross M Dinerstein will produce the film along with Kevin Waller and Erik Jendresen.

Jendresen adapted the screenplay from a book written by soldier Eric, who will potentially be portrayed in the film by Robert, and Davin Seay.

Jendresen acted as a writer and supervising producer on HBO’s TV war drama mini-series Band of Brothers in the past.

Embankment Films is planning to sell the feature at Cannes Film Market later this month.

Director Jean-Stephane Sauvaire has been linked to helm the picture.
