Royal Navy ship to aid search for Timmy MacColl
The Royal Navy ship HMS Middleton will help police in Dubai search for missing sailor Timmy MacColl, according to a report by the BBC.
The Leading Seaman, from Gosport in England, was last seen on May 27 during a port visit by HMS Westminster.
Shipmates said they put him in a taxi outside Rock Bottom café in Bur Dubai in the early hours of the morning to go back to the ship at Port Rashid, but he never arrived.
The BBC said HMS Middleton, a minesweeper, will be used to search the area around Port Rashid where his ship was berthed.
The ship is currently deployed in operations in the Arabian Gulf.
