The Royal Navy ship HMS Middleton will help police in Dubai search for missing sailor Timmy MacColl, according to a report by the BBC.

The Leading Seaman, from Gosport in England, was last seen on May 27 during a port visit by HMS Westminster.

Shipmates said they put him in a taxi outside Rock Bottom café in Bur Dubai in the early hours of the morning to go back to the ship at Port Rashid, but he never arrived.
