Smile and say ‘hi’ to those who sneak peek
To all those people who don’t like labourers to live in their vicinity or come to the beach, while I understand their point of view - I think people should try and consider why they’re actually being looked at.
Has it ever occurred to you that they stare because it’s a life they think they’re never going to have?
-

As a woman, I do not want to be leered at - but it’s not like they’re thinking about approaching me and asking me to dinner.
Really, if looking at me is what made their otherwise difficult day pleasant I’m not going to run off complaining.
Try a different approach maybe?
Ever tried smiling and saying hello instead of looking disgusted and creeped out? The response may surprise you.
I’m not preaching - just saying that maybe we should try and smile before we attack people for being less fortunate and behaving differently. It can work wonders.

“Wearing a bikini in a private hotel beach is fine but not in public places. The labourers STARE when they see such semi naked women walk in public beaches, hotel lobby and now in the malls. This is rarely seen in their home town. They find it shocking and so they stare which is no fault of theirs as they don't expect to see this in PUBLIC beaches, Malls and hotel lobby's where people come with their families. These poor labourers also come to spend some time on the beach. They are also humans and so they have equal right to be on the public beach...as much as others have the right. Dont want them 2 Stare then don't wear it at public places.... And then later don't complain that you were molested and put the article in the media. Imagine a lady in a bikini smiling at labourers and saying Hi! Result: The labourers will b very happy and they will give a million dollar smile in return. Try it... But later don't b surprised if u get molested or raped.”

“Maybe if you didn't wear bikinis and provocative clothes people won't stare at you....”
