Teen got pregnant without having sex, Dubai Court told
A teenager got pregnant without having sex with her boyfriend, a Dubai court has heard.
The 15-year-old Emirati girl appeared at Dubai Minors’ Court yesterday clutching her newborn baby alongside the 17-year-old boy, who is also Emirati.
The pair faced charges of having sex out of wedlock and despite the girl claiming the pair had intercourse, a forensic report submitted to the court stated that there was no sign of sexual activity and the girl was still a virgin.

The girl said: “I met him on the internet and fell in love with him. We had many dates at my family’s house in Oud Mutaina, Dubai, and had sex in my bedroom after my parents fell asleep.
“He had full sex with me about three times. When I told him I was pregnant, he did not care.”
The boy denied having intercourse and said: “I didn’t make her lose her virginity, nor did I get her pregnant. After a while we broke up. I was surprised when her family visited my home and told me I had made her pregnant.”
He admitted touching the girl and it is believed he ejaculated and his semen seeped into the girl’s uterus.
The boy claimed the girl had been seeing other boys during their relationship and asked the court to conduct a DNA test to prove he was the father.
The girl’s mother confronted the boy’s family and went to police when she discovered her child was 29 weeks pregnant.
The court ruled that the pair should be put under judicial supervision.

“typical example of a nanny raising a child and not a parent around to make sure they know right from wrong. How, as a parent, do you NOT realize your child is having sex, let alone be pregnant for 7 months? regardless how the court deals with this manner, let's make this an example for parents to actively participate in raising their children instead of letting someone else do this!”
