Timmy MacColl's family launch campaign to find taxi driver
The family of missing British Royal Navy sailor Timmy MacColl who vanished over three weeks ago after getting into a Dubai taxi have launched a campaign to help find the taxi driver.
A leaflet has been drawn up with photos of Timmy and the clothes he was last seen wearing along with a short description of the 27-year-old.
Timmy was at the Rock Bottom club in Bur Dubai and two shipmates claim they put him in a taxi at aroud 1.40am on Sunday, May 27.

The dad-of-two, whose wife Rachael, 25, is expecting their third child in October has never been seen since.
Close friend of Timmy’s Nigel Fleetwood told 7DAYS: “If everybody who takes taxis in Dubai prints out some of these and asks their driver about Timmy maybe we will get some information.”

“do you think it might make sense to update that photo or at least get an artist's impression of what Timmy might look like after a few weeks. Like a stubble/beard, etc...Anything could have happened to him and I he may not have been or been able to groom himself.”

“The announcements will trigger a conversation among taxi drivers who wait in queue outside Rock Bottom and hopefully that will bring in some information.
Timmy's flyers can be left at the club if they think they know something.”

“One way to get the word out is through the radio stations. Since majority of the taxi drivers are from India or Pakistan, target these radio stations. I am sure they will be more than willing to make a few announcements.”
