Toyota toys with the Camatte

Japanese car giant Toyota has come up with something for the little people – children.

The firm unveiled a concept of the Camatte electric car this month at the International Tokyo Toy Show.

However, Toyota said the three-seater should be driven on private property and not on public roads.

The Camatte was designed to “introduce children to the fun of driving, customising and owning a car”, it added.

It features parts that can be easily removed and swapped to play with design and colour.

The car is 2.7m long and 1.2m high.
