Unnecessary expenses to suffer for UID NO from immigration for applying for emirates ID.
This is in regard to applying for Emirates ID. I went to apply for my brother's family with typing center in one of the shop located in Khallej Center. After standing in queue for a long time ,when my turn came for typing the form they ask for
UID NO on the visa which is not printed on my brother family residence visa. When enquire with call center of Emirates ID they told it is compulsory without that they cannot proceed further. So know I enquire with Immigration department

they told we have to come with original passport to immigration for getting UID NO and for that we have to pay 130/- dhms which is not our fault. If that was compulsory
in the future so why they have not printed while issuing residence visa? This is not our fault for which we have to bear these expenses. This no is not printed by immigration department and they have to gave us free to us not by paying
Dhms.130.
Please help us in this regard this is not our fault why should we suffer which is not our mistake.

“for the same case, happen to visit, emigration with original passport, there is no charge, the officials at emigration was very supportive, they provided the number with a smile.
but when we call call centre, they informed that we will be charged the same.
SO NO CHARGE--”

“my wife's passport doesnt carry the UID number, but still applied and got her ID. May be its the fault of the typing center.”
