Abu Dhabi Criminal Court yesterday handed out the three-month sentence to the Indian woman after she was found guilty of proselytising and handing out copies of the text on the streets of the UAE capital.

“Can't grasp how saying the Bible is special and beneficial can be construed as attacking Islam? Not conducive with the UAE's notion of itself as a tolerant country.”

“Did she really attack or curse another religion? With my full respect to all religions, that woman seemed to be very innocent from the words she said do not have any smell of cursing or attacking. Can you please stop these kinds of accusations and instead please pay attentions to our children's safety from adulterers, thieves, killers etc.....
It really makes me sick to see that harmless woman getting in prison for no crime.
