Yash Chopra's new film starring Shah Rukh Khan titled 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'
After months of speculation, the title of Yash Chopra's romance has been revealed.
'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (‘Until there is life in me’) stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
The movie title has been the subject of speculation for a long time. Rumours had suggested that it would be called ‘London Ishq’, ‘Yara Sili Sili’ or perhaps 'Yeh Kahaan Aa Gaye Hum.'
'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' was referred to as 'production #45' and 'new production' by the cast and crew during filming.
But while the name of the film may have been a mystery all this while, the names of its lead characters were not.
Shah Rukh Khan plays military man Samar, Katrina Kaif plays Khushi and Anushka Sharma, whose role is really an extended cameo, plays Muskaan.
The movie, which reunites Khan with his ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ co-star, has been shot extensively in Europe, as well as in parts of Kashmir.
The project also brings together the award-winning duo of music maestro A R Rahman and poet and lyricist Gulzar, who composed the songs of the film.
Directed by the king of romance, Yash Chopra, the screenplay was written by Aditya Chopra.
The romantic flick also marks Chopra's return to the director's seat after a gap of nearly seven years. ('Veer Zara', 2004).
The film's trailer is expected to release on Chopra's 80th birthday, September 27.
