'Keep their brains active in the summer holidays'
Now school has finished, pupils will be excited but perhaps wondering what they are going to do for the summer.
I hope the schools have provided children with various projects and assignments to keep them occupied instead of them sleeping, eating, day dreaming, and sitting on the idiot box 24/7. You do get to sleep late and get up late dreaming more. There are ways at home to make yourself busy such as learning the basics of cooking, or reading and writing.
The internet and various other gadgets have taken over our lives and children just waste away hours on technology. There are many talented children out here who love to do something unique so parents should encourage them to showcase their hidden talents. Summer holidays should be used to the fullest and if you don’t utilise them, then you might have to wait for another year, which might be too late.
