“I live in Ghoroob as well -- The A/C is not working, I cannot sleep at night. The tempreture wsa 28C last night. I called the maintenance 5 times in the last 3 days and they don't know when this will be fixed, they told me that this is not my problem alone, all residence are affected - as if this should make me feel better. They told me that this a major problem and whoever is fixing it will not give us a time - it could take more days !!
I was thinking of moving to a Hotel - they should reflect a major discount on our rent!! meanwhile, we should raise this Rera. I would like more people to help on this, I tried cotnacting them but I stil didnt get a reply.

“Muhannad, I gave them one more chance as the Property Manager wanted to have a technical report, so the maintenance promised to come at 6 pm yesterday, but did they show up???? NO!!!!
This negligence just show us that they do not care at all about the tenants. I have been terminating my contract and I expect that I do not need to pay the early termination fee as they have NOT fulfilled their obligations towards us as tenants. I wrote a mail yesterday evening again to the property manager but he have not even bothered to answer that.”

“I just wonder if all the tenants are calling and complaining? since I know absolutely no one at Ghoroob there is no way for me to know.
I really don't know what to do, the problem is that they are not committing to a date to which the problem would be fixed. I will giving them until tomorrow morning and then I will call them and terminate – I think this the only way out
Are we putting enough pressure on them? Can we have someone from the media talk to them or write about this? Or they are scared they would lose advertising revenue.”

“We lived in Dubai for more 6 years but we have seen major hair loss in Ghoroob. I am pretty sure they have major problems with their water and pipes. I am also sure they have problem with mold as well. Pls go to the masjid and talk to the brothers there. I am sure you will find many ppl with the same issues. Regards”

“Hello everyone, even we facing similar problem from last 2 weeks running with water with empty tanks and just fed-up calling 800link with no proper response. i don't know what to do and where to complaint, i hope someone have to take a very serious action against this property management.

“Living in Ghoroob. Huge problem with the AC, and no response from the maintenance team or management. We moved in to one apartment in Ghoroob beginning of May, very soon we started to have problems with the AC, tech came and emptied the water in the system, everything was fine for a week. Then it started again, now with so high humiidty so the bedlinnen were wet, complained, they came, emptied again, now it was ok for a couple of days, we went for vacation for 2 weeks and when we came back everyhting inside was wet. SO again phoned, nothing happend, phoned again, nothing happend, e-mailed to property manager, nothing happend, have now sent 4 e-mails and still no one has been here. All clothes are wet,sofa wet, bed linen wet, wodden furniture starts to get ruined, roof in bathroom started to grow mold. electronic equipment is getting ruined and I am getting sick. Have anyone heard about Legionnairs diesase, it is a potential fatal diesase that is caused by a bacteria growing. Most common causes to get this is AC system, waster taps with not enough warm water, humifider et.s I have tried my very best to get someone to listen to me but NO. I have given up and terminating our contract with them, and moving to another place. It is not only my apartment, I have been talking to neighbors and they are facing the same problem. We are all paying our rents and doing our obligations, I am wondering why it should be the same from the property we are hiring from.”
