My supervisor says I'm lazy and leave everything to the very last minute. I usually manage to pull it off and produce good results, but I think she's right. Should I resign before I get fired?

Dear Agony -Aunty,
I need to choose a univeristy and decide "what to be when I grow up" but the truth is that I can't think of anything exciting to do. I don't want to disappoint my parents or waste their money. Should I take a gap year instead? What if I still don't know what to do next year?

I feel your pain, I really do. Stop agonising immediately! Not all personality types are perfect matches for all environments. Identifying your own personality type and developing an understanding of others' types is imperative if you're wanting to fit in at work or to do well at university. Life can be really tedious if you just see your 40 years of working life as a means to an end. Don't put your happiness on hold.
