JIM FURYK - The plodder of a player is looking like he’s finding form at just the right time to win his second US Open title. He’s yet to win this season, but is 2nd in fairways in regulation and leads the tour in bogey avoidance - the stats that matter for the toughest test of them all. He’ll never set the world alight but he’ll be hot this weekend.
