7DAYS sports boys give their predictions for the US Open at Olympic Club
JIM FURYK - The plodder of a player is looking like he’s finding form at just the right time to win his second US Open title. He’s yet to win this season, but is 2nd in fairways in regulation and leads the tour in bogey avoidance - the stats that matter for the toughest test of them all. He’ll never set the world alight but he’ll be hot this weekend.

MATT KUCHAR - Big Kuch has been knocking on the door of the Majors for some time now. He’s only once finished outside of the top 30 in his past nine appearances. He knows how to perform on the big stage winning The Players Championship last month. Expect cries of ‘Kooooooch’, come Sunday afternoon at the Olympic Club.
