7DAYS

I bought an apartment in Dubai and got the handover recently with a leakage in the bathroom, now the manager refuses to repair the damages.

He says the maintenance contract has expired and refuses to repair. What can I do?

“Was any appraisal or the property done immediately before purchase?

From your confusion, I suspect not; caveat emptor.”

“If the fault was reported in the snag list done at the moment of purchese / property hand-over then the previous owner is forced to get it fixed. Should it not, as Gavtek very well said... call a plumber!”

“Erm, call a plumber? I look forward to your letter tomorrow titled "I'm hungry, I have food in my fridge, what should I do?"”
