“I use taxis frequently in Abu Dhabi where I live. Recently I have asked several taxi drivers if they are aware of the missing sailor Timmy McColl. Not one of them know of this missing person nor have heard anything about him. At the hospital where I work as a volunteer, I have asked the nurses, and likwise, they are not aware at all. It appears that everyone in Dubai may not be aware of this unfortunate missing person, as here in Abu Dhabi the information has not really permeated to the people who could know of Timmy's whereabouts. The taxi driver who took me, neither he or the nurses knew about the missing Mr McColl, the taxi driver said he has no time to read news papers even though the posters are in various languages but he does listen to the local radios in his language, Is it possible to get more non English speaking people informed. Especially nurses and doctors who may recognise him I understand through the expat Ladies page that this happened some years ago and a nurse in the Rashed hospital recognised the missing person. I do hope that we can all cascade the information so everyone can be aware and remain on alert to find this young man. Keep praying.”
