“ Compared to the Parisian counterpart, Buddah Bar at the Grosvnor Hotel lacks a bit in atmosphere. You have the 30 foot Buddah, great decor, a good menu, friendly staff and a good dinner atmosphere but as for afters it fails. There is no dance area and little dancing anyway. But still worth a visit if you are there on a trip. Book for dinner as they are nearly always booked out on the weekends. Have fun. ”

“The moment you walk in Buddha bar you immediately feel that the place is something special. It exudes glamour and laid back sophistication. The restaurant is huge, spread across two floors. there are numerous smaller lounges and private dining areas including upstairs lounge area, as well as a sushi bar. The main dining area is adorned by a huge Buddha statue, adds mysticism to the atmosphere. The decor is impressive and the atmosphere is amazing.
The menu is extensive with various mouth watering Asian cuisines - the sushi, the black cod and the Thai Green Curry are superb. There is also an extensive wine list and the bar serves incredible cocktails. The food is excellent and service is impeccable, with attention to detail that is unrivaled.
This is a must in Dubai for a perfect evening, although slightly expensive it is well worth the money.”
