Can you stop bashing the bachelors please?
It is becoming fashionable for the media and others to bash bachelors.
At the drop of a hat, they are being monsterised, as if bachelors are scum of the society. Why are they being irrationally ostracised? Don’t they have a place in society or national economy or, for that matter, humanity?
Come on journos, straight-thinking authorities and people - all males were bachelors to begin with! Let’s not mix up or debate about the depth of morality such hapless specimens showcase, for the matter will be equally amusing, and entertaining, as that of those upright married race!

“We should all learn and co operate with those living near by let it be a bachelor, spinster or a family with 5 kids. As times have changed every bodys attitude have changed and we have become so itchy and we end up terming and naming them too. when your staying in a community it is very important for you to get to know each other. IF you dont harm them they wont harm you. We cant struggle to live with all the luxurious in life chucking others out. Arent Bachelors humans ? Where would they end up living? Arnt they here to also earn and make both ends meet. At some point of time we all were bachelors. In this rat race world most of us dont even have the time to find out whats happening next door. It is inhuman to name bachelors as unwanted elements and i find that inappropriate and insulting. Have we ever thought Where will the bachelors go? As long as they can afford to pay for the rent there should be no comment even of removing them and setting up separate apts for Bachelors. all i know is that only In such places you would find discrimination as people do not know to understand each other then what is the point of talking about various cultures in Dubai. Dubai is a cosmopolitan city with different people hailing from different walks of life so rather than complaining lets get along instead of pointing fingers which wont make a difference.
There would be ups and downs as every body is not the same. Each of us have got different traits and we should not behave like strangers but learn to live in a close knit family. the only solution i feel is that those who cant stay can leave as no one is compelling them to stay. Live and let live would be the policy. Unless and until we get along and live together in peace and harmony we are going to continue having disputes .. so its some thing to do with a little compromise. Why don't we go talk to the bachelors rather than just pin pointing their mistakes and calling them nick names? Its never late to change our attitude. ”

“In fact what the authorities are implying is to move the low-income people who tend to overcrowd apartments/villas because they are not in a position to financially or morally afford a better living for themselves. Have you come across certain areas where it becomes difficult for you to walk with your family only because it is crowded with hundreds of "bachelors" chewing and spitting paan, browsing for the latest pirated CDs and not to mention ogling at any female that happens to pass?
Anyone who is against the decision to relocate these less-fortunate should in fact take time to visit the labour accommodation, and experience their lifestyle first-hand, especially on weekends. It is easy to put the blame on companies that they provide sub-standard labour accommodation. "Home is what you make it" - it's the people who stay that are responsible for keeping it in better living conditions.
As harsh as it may sound, but I believe this move is in the best interest of our society to keep it safe from any kind of illegal activities.

“Yes I agree, because of a rotten few he rest are getting bashed. There are many Bachalors who know how to live as decently as any other. They work, and live in peace... Please dont generalize. Punish the crime not the group that the crimimnal belongs to.”
