HEAD to Galatea art gallery at the Royal Mirage Hotel on Sunday to check out an exhibition by Dubai-based Iranian artist Yalda Jafari.
Jafari, who was brought up in New York, has a distinctive style. Her artistic creations are characterised in three techniques: traditional modern with calligraphy and poetry, modern abstract decorative, and folk illustrative art, which brings out the more fun side of the paintings.
